Shop Toyota Prius OEM replacement fender liners and wheel-well splash shields at PartsPrime. These moulded inner panels protect areas behind the front wheels and must match the specific wheel-well shape, mounting pattern, and vehicle side.
Prius fender liner fitment changes between generations, so a splash shield designed for one Prius body style should not be assumed compatible with another.
Prius Fender Liner and Splash Shield Replacement
Fender liner and splash shield are common search terms for the protective inner wheel-well panel. The component helps reduce direct exposure of nearby body and mechanical areas to water, road debris, dirt, snow, and road salt.
Driver-Side and Passenger-Side Liners
Prius wheel-well liners are side-specific in the supported applications. Each side can use different contours, fastener positions, openings, and bumper interfaces.
Mounting Clips and Retainers
Plastic clips and retainers can become damaged or brittle during removal. Inspect the original fasteners and mounting holes before installation so the replacement liner can be secured properly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a Prius fender liner the same as a splash shield?
These terms are commonly used for the inner wheel-well protective component, although catalog terminology can vary.
Are left and right liners interchangeable?
No in the supported side-specific applications.
Can old clips be reused?
Only if they remain undamaged and secure. Worn or broken retainers should be replaced.
Is the exterior fender included?
No. Exterior panels are available separately in Toyota Prius Fenders.
Can a damaged bumper affect liner installation?
Yes. The liner often interfaces with the bumper area, so damaged mounting points can affect fitment.
How do I confirm the correct liner?
Check model year, generation, vehicle side, wheel-well geometry, mounting locations, and product application notes.
